the overall view of the annual Palm Springs concours, the Desert Classic

Some cars, like the above race car, and the below Bugatti, are on their own in their fields.. there just aren't enough cars that are similar in their classes to compete with

there is a series of flyovers every year... everyone loves that... kids dig it, seniors admire them, and in betweeners get some great photos of these WW2 warbirds

Keep in mind that this gallery excludes the photos I've already posted, the fire trucks, the Maserati, Siata, big 1920's classics, etc etc. These are just the big group shots that I hadn't posted yet.

The Mexican Maserati 3500

A good amount of coverage of the 2013 Desert Classic is at http://www.velocetoday.com/a-preview-of-desert-classic-2013/#.UTlDghzvuwR

eye catching Siata

A big step above ordinary, an Abarth and a Hebmuller

I'm pretty sure this is the Hebmuller I photographed at the Steve McQueen car show last summer http://justacarguy.blogspot.com/2012/06/1949-hebmuler-cabriolet-vw-bug-rare.html

Rarely are personalized "Vanity" plates easy to understand, or amusing... but this Ferrari plate nails it
